In this class, we will be creating art with the intention of being bad on purpose. The goal is to free ourselves from the fear of failure in art and prioritize the joy in the process of creation over the product. Collectively, we will investigate what shapes our taste and what we define as “bad art“. Drawings will be judged collectively and anything that is voted to be too “good” must be destroyed. Each session will explore new topics and mediums for us to fail at. Come to laugh, play, and let go of perfectionism.
